Reports to: SVP Sales & Marketing NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc.
Scope: Direct all North American sales efforts of the NAPCO Intrusion and Fire Division
Responsibilities:
- Manage three (3) direct reports: VP Sales East, VP Sales West and Fire Product Manager
- Work with VP’s as well as territory managers to train, mentor and direct them in best practice sales techniques
- Work with management and sales force in development of a sales strategy
- Work with Marketing in developing all necessary sales tools for sales force
- Structure product positioning against the competition and present them in a compelling manner
- Create selling and new product PowerPoint presentations
- Set up training programs to educate dealers
- Handle key distribution headquarter points
- Develop promotion plans for implementation at distribution
- Position our Company in an advantageous and visible position at distribution level
- Provide input for all sales materials
- Provide new product direction and market intelligence to management and engineering
- Manage sales budgets
- Drive the influx of new dealers for the Division and grow the sales of existing dealers
- Grow the sales levels to dealers as well as distribution, on an on-going basis
- Be involved in the recruitment of new sales professionals
- Excellent communicator both written and spoken
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or higher
- A superior track record of increasing sales and building business in technology products
- Electronic security industry experience a big plus
- Previous management of a sizeable sales team.
- Technical understanding of electronic products
- 70% travel
- Previous key account management experience
- Good people management skills
- This position will be based in Amityville Long Island, NY (20 minutes east of JFK airport)

Compensation Package:
- Base salary of $150,000 plus a commission plan that will impress.
