Asentinel is seeking a qualified sales executive for its Vice President of Strategic Channels (VP-SC) position. The VP-SC is focused on developing new and expanding existing strategic partnerships and securing revenue through the Partner Sales Channel. The VP-SC will be tasked with a combination of Business Development, Affiliate Channel Revenue growth and personnel management. This is an Officer-level position.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years in Telecommunications, Software or TEM industry
· 5+ years in Business Development or Affiliate Channels
· Extensive knowledge of IT, Telecommunications and Enterprise Networks
· C-level presentation and interaction skills
· Microsoft Office competency
· Strong account development and partner relationship experience and skills
· Significant experience building and developing revenue-driven Alternate Channels and flagship partnerships
· Confident negotiating capabilities
· Experienced and Competent in RFP response management
· Background in Value-Added Services in the Technology market
· Hands-on software experience/hardware experience
· Experienced as the lead in team-based selling environment
· Confidence with Sales Force Automation tools
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Target, Develop and Support new Strategic Partners
· Manage existing Partners (BPO’s, Resellers, Technology Integrators, etc.)
· Present, Propose and Contract Asentinel services to Major and National Enterprises & Governments
· Work closely, pre-sale and post-sale, with Senior VP of Sales and Supporting Asentinel organizations in Engineering, Customer Support and Project Management to implement customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
· Provide constant feedback to Corporate on product enhancements, applications, market opportunities and competition
· Participate/Organize industry, community and/or trade events
· Provide timely, detailed and accurate reporting to internal and external audiences (i.e. forecasts, prospects, funnels, schedules, expense reports, etc.)
· Ability to possess a strong hunter sales mentality and self-generate opportunities
· Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, email) with prospects, customers, peers, vendors, project management team, technical support organization and Senior Management
· Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and proposals
· Ability to problem solve
· Ability to project manage complex activities
· Ability to work with support staff as a team
· Ability to work across multiple vendor and customer platforms
· Ability to shorten long, complicated sales cycles
· College degree
· MBA preferred
· Travel: Moderate to heavy (25%+)
