We have an immediate need for a WASTE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON THE NORTH SLOPE OF ALASKA.

Waste Management Coordinator

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Provide overall coordination and quality control of remediation work.
• Assist management teams to coordinate work and back up that position on a daily basis.
• Provide interface with remediation Management Group and state and federal agencies on environmental projects.

Experience & Knowledge
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of current DOT, EPA, state and oil industry regulations regarding the remediation of active drill-site reserve pits and abandoned exploration drill sites
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Must be a team player and have good customer service skills and work well under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to learn specialized software quickly
• Valid driver’s license that meets ICE Services Insurance criteria

Any Other Relevant Information
Minimum GED degree or High School Diploma required; Business or Environmental Science degree preferred

Certifications:
NSTC required. CDL Class B (airbrakes), Waste Management Certification (HSEENV004, Redbook-HSEENV005), Hazardous Waste Management Advanced, Storm Water (HSEEN V011)

English fluency required
