Seeking experienced Web Designer to join the Marketing & Communications team of a dynamic Financial Services firm based in San Jose, CA.  You will be responsible for designing high-quality creative and functionalities for a variety of web projects.  You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating (and eventually redesigning) several company websites. 

In addition, you will be responsible for occasional graphic support, including some basic print work.

A strong creative portfolio is a must as is the ability to bring ideas from concept to realization while applying web design principles that are original, compelling and effective.

You must also be a self-starter, have the ability to work to deadlines and have a can do attitude.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors degree in a design-related field


• 3+ years of design experience


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash


• Proficiency in Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat


• Expertise in information architecture, simplifying user experience, and clean/elegant design


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Word


• Strong organization and prioritizing skills with a focus on details and the ability  to multi-task


• The ability to work effectively in a team environment, willing to help where needed


• The ability to take direction, expectations & details; then execute with minimal follow up required


• Experience with a financial services firm is a plus but not required
