Our National Security Division is currently seeking a WMD Intelligence Analysis Technical Writer and Editor. This position is located in Metro Washington, DC area.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The WMD Intelligence Analysis Technical Writer and Editor is responsible for using various digital production tools and databases to ensure the editorial and technical completeness and accuracy of finished intelligence products. The individual must be able to edit technical documents for grammatical correctness, consistency, style, organization, logic, and appropriateness. The individual will ensure correct and appropriate formatting is provided for the product type, ensure complete and correct reference information is included, and ensure complete and correct classification and control markings are applied and that references support the markings. The editor must have excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of flexibility. The editor will be required to mentor and coach analysts at a variety of experience and expertise levels.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
1. Six or more years of experience as an editor of technical, scientific, or intelligence products.
2. Practical experience writing and editing intelligence community products according to Analytic Integrity and Standards (AIS) guidelines.
3. Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. The position requires an active TS clearance with SCI access.

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
1. Experience with the Department of Defense and other government agencies engaged in WMD related research.
2. Experience supporting organizations responsible for intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
3. The candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree.
