Warehouse Manager

Company providing distribution services to a variety of clients is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Manager and oversee the production operations of a warehouse distribution facility in the Memphis, TN area.

Position Summary

The Manager will direct a team of exempt and non-exempt associates in all functions of the operation while working to improve and enhance workflow processes, production, and quality, oversee performance measures, and verify safety objectives are achieved.  Incumbent will ensure financial objectives are attained, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.  The Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and partnerships with other departments within the Company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Warehouse Distribution Manager in a production environment managing up to 100 employees.  Must have the proven ability to lead, train, mentor, and motivate a team.  Candidate must possess strong analytical skills, proven success in managing a budget, and the working knowledge of warehouse management systems and facility planning.  Incumbent must exhibit the ability and desire to work in a cost control environment while promoting excellence within the team. Candidate must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
