Description

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Performs warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations. 2. Performs light assembly tasks within the guidelines of product specifications. 3. Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks. 4. Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner. 5. Assist in the completion of production orders. 6. Accurately load customers. (Inspect for damaged materials). 7. Unload and accurately receive incoming product. 8. Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs during loading. 9. Maintain and practice company safety policies and procedures. 10. Provides assistance to Door Center Management or staff to safely conduct business. 11. Provide building and product security including inventory & damage control. 12. Operates vehicle to transport material to assigned destinations a minimum of 25 hours per week. 13. Maintains Federal/State required logs. 14. Assists with loading and unloading of truck. 15. Assumes responsibility for cash or company credit card and submits timely expense reports. 16. Assist in the development of an annual Individual Development Plan (IDP) and meet all training targets as spelled out in the IDP and by corporate goals. 17. Perform other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must perform work in non-climate controlled warehouse facility. 2. Extended time on feet; walking distances up to 200 feet. 3. Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand /power tools. 4. Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying and lifting (up to 75 pounds). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 1. High School Education. 2. Ability to learn product and work under pressure. 3. Must have a clean driving record. 4. Mechanically inclined. 5. Good communication and telephone skills. 6. Ability to operate power tools. 7. Previous experience desirable.
