At present, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Warehouse Management team in our Reno, Nevada location.


Position Summary:

This position supports the Logistics staff in directing the overall activities of the distribution center and interfaces with the supervisors of the other departments to ensure an efficient operation and maximum utilization of available human and material resources. Individual will maintain a high level of employee morale and integrity in the department through positive motivation, development and training. Direct daily operations of the shift consistent with established productivity, service level and quality standards. Maintain performance reports to include internal and external quality, weekly and monthly shift productivity. Take disciplinary action when necessary in accordance with Arrow policy and procedures. Evaluate operational procedures and present for consideration of improved methods.


Minimum Qualifications:

· 3-5 years supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment

· College degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience

· Must demonstrate the ability to manage people and processes

· Must possess well developed leadership and organizational skills

· Must be project oriented and have the ability to follow through on long term goals

· Desire to be in customer-oriented environment

· Ability to handle multi-tasking

· Ability to excel in fast paced environment

· High degree of dependability and integrity

· MS Office proficiency


Preferred Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of material handling equipment

· WMS experience


Additional Industrial Engineering Skills:

· Six Sigma/Lean concepts

· Ability to easily interpret and use statistics in day-to-day decision-making

· Basic statistical modeling

· Project management concepts/principles

· Root Cause Analysis, Pareto and flow charts

· Evaluating processes to optimize product handling, product flow and layouts

· Basic production floor layout
