We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehousing operations for the Department of Defense. The Manager will supervise all personnel assigned to the following warehousing services: receiving, storage, re-warehousing, inventory, issue and delivery of material. The Manager and all warehousing staff will be supporting the DLA Material Control Center in Albany, GA. This facility performs maintenance service for the military’s ground combat equipment.

It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Manager to ensure the following:

• All work are scheduled efficiently and properly, as to maximize use of staff resource
• Reports are submitted accurately and timely
• Prevent inefficient or wasteful processes in performance of services
• Maximize cost savings for the Government, while maintaining quality and timeliness of performed work

Candidates must possess the following credentials:

• At least 5 years supervisory/managerial experience in a Government/military warehouse
• Technical expertise in use of the Industrial Support Management Information System (ILSMIS) and other supply systems, such as the Material Resource Planning II (MRP II)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Prior security clearance
• Military experience/background, particularly in transport of parts and supplies for military ground vehicles.
