Summary: Responsible for the efficient and daily management of warehouse operations.
Key Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Manages and coordinates over 5,000 sku’s with the receiving of inventory, stocking inventory, pulling, packing and shipping customer orders.
Reviews records on accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels of 5,000+ sku’s.
Participates in annual physical inventory of over 5,000 sku’s, in addition to periodic inventory control audits and cycle counts, when necessary.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites work flow.
Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Analyzes performance data to evaluate individual contribution and assess training needs.
Advises employees on care and presentation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods of use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
Communication to team goals, expectations, priorities and processes.
Assists in unloading and sorting of all incoming product shipments from suppliers.
Maintains performance requirements by ensuring that established order quantities and accuracy rates are met.
Works closely with the Branch Manger to minimize employee turnover and absenteeism and help maintain high morale.
Keeps returned goods and customer credit memos to a minimum by shipping orders on time, with correct sizes, styles, and quantities via the most cost effective shipping methods.
Provides safe, secure working conditions for all employees and enforces all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5 + years of outstanding performance in a warehouse supervisory or management role with experience in a large quantity of sku’s.
High energy, positive attitude, strong teamwork orientations.
Above average performance in quality/productivity.
Ability to lift 50 – 60lbs and standing/walking majority of work day.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Natural leadership and management ability.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to successfully utilize computer applications, such as word and excel.
