A Medical supply company is looking for qualified candidates to consider for our Warehouse Manager opening.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall production and accuracy of inventory in the warehouse. Oversees and manages the staff working in the warehouse to ensure the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse and works closely with other areas to coordinate activities. Performs functions as outlined in SOPs as outlined in GMPs. Ensures orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Follows safety procedures and practices, maintains a clean, orderly work environment and communicates problems to Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Coordinates department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.
- Evaluates department processes. Recommends and coordinates needed changes to Standard Operating Procedures based on process analysis.
- Develops, Analyzes and prepares reports
- Performs weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory
- Supervises staff and directs work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assists staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems
- Participates in hiring process for new associates, as needed
- Addresses performance inefficiencies and provides appropriate documentation to Human Resources
- Establishes employee goals and conducts employee performance reviews.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, and back-up for absent employees.
- Coordinates with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
- Schedules and conducts staff meetings.
- Meets department productivity and quality goals.
- Communicates with other Supervisors and Managers.
- Serves on committees and teams as department representative.
- Maintains updated Outlook calendar, and checks e-mail several times throughout the day
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 5-7 years work experience in a similar work environment
- Management experience required
- Excellent attention to detail with effective problem solving skills
- Time management skills required, must be able to accommodate schedule changes when needed
- Enthusiastic, well-motivated and a good team player
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient computer skills preferred
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Must pass detailed background check including a motor vehicle check
- Must demonstrate negative drug test results as a prerequisite to employment, and also during employment
