Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities include:

1. Enforce and verify adherence to all procedures within company and OSHA Safety, Corporate/Site Quality System, Operational Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
   
2. Assure the internal and external flow of finished products is maintained per established site/corporate procedures
   
3. Responsible for the safe operation of forklift, slip-sheet and/or clamp truck in both the warehouse and production areas.
   
4. Supervision of the Finished Goods Shift Lead, Finished Goods Material Handlers, and Shipping Clerk
   
5. Responsible for the training of new associates
   
6. Assure product is preloaded and/or staged as per outbound schedule.
   
7. Address any maintenance needs for structure, docks or lift trucks.
   
8. Interview and evaluate Logistics personnel related to assigned shift.
   
9. Responsible for implementing work instructions as they pertain to ISO Standards.
   
10. Ensure proper staffing to meet daily requirements
    
11. Responsible for the accuracy of transactions, product scanning, and finished goods inventory
    
12. Assure product is shipped in FIFO sequence.
    
13. Assist in the management of site trailer inventory.
    
14. Assure dock utilization is maintained
    
15. Interface with other members of plant management to facilitate resolution of problems and mission accomplishment.
    
16. Recommend measures to improve logistics procedures, resource utilization, and quality of product.
    
17. Evaluate product storage and oversee the consolidation of product
    
18. Assist Quality Department with shipping related activities.
    
19. Perform inventory duties as required
    
20. Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
    
21. All other duties as assigned
    

Skills/Qualifications include:

1. Minimum two years of warehouse and management experience.
   
2. Minimum two-year business related degree or equivalent work experience.
   
3. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.
   
4. Capability to follow and give instructions.
   
5. Able to handle workflow and situations in a professional manner.
   
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
   
7. Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
   
8. Good computer skills, working with Windows based programs.
