Job Duties:

  • Manage and direct the Environmental Health & Safety Program to achieve a safe work environment and meet the safety goals for the Bolingbrook facility, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory agency rules and regulations such as OSHA and EPA.

  • Reviews Daily Production Report to plan and direct production throughout the warehouse.

  • Manage the movement of Sales Orders and Warehouse transfers through the warehouse to effectively support and improve CDP (Customer Delivery Performance).

  • Responsible for management of all warehouse employees. This will include annual performance evaluations, merit reviews, authorization of overtime, and handling any employee issues and disciplinary actions 

  • Responsible for inventory control measures including daily cycle counting and resolution of shipping and receiving discrepancies.

  • Ensure that the procedures and policies required for cycle counts and inventory accuracy are strictly adhered to.  Also responsible for maintaining non-stock and unavailable inventory.

  • Responsible for scheduling permanent and temporary workforce.

  • Ensure warehousing and distribution standards and procedures are followed and maintained.

·         Develops and maintains an effective organization with respect to personnel. Ensures that all personnel understand the responsibility, authority, and accountability of their position. Ensures that all personnel are properly trained in the skills and knowledge required for their job function including safety requirements.

 

  • Responsible for the overall management of the facility including building and equipment maintenance.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

§         A Bachelors Degree in a related field or at least 5 years experience working in a distribution and/or valve automation facility would be an asset.

§         Working knowledge of Tyco products

§         Working knowledge of Inventory Control

§         Proficient computer skills in utilizing Sxe. Word and Excel.

§         Good written and verbal communication skills

§         After-hours and weekend work will be necessary as required
