The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing the ongoing functions for the Inbound and Returns operations areas and the personnel performing those functions to ensure the availability of services / products to our customers.


Hours for this position: 1st shift, M-F

Responsibilities include:

    • Successfully plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities
    • Plan, develop, administer and evaluate assigned goals
    • Drive continuous improvement and lead cost reduction activities
    • Ensure all documents and reports are completed in a timely manner
    • Ensure warehouse processes are completed on time and accurately for assigned areas
    • Ensure personnel follow all safety guidelines
    • Assess operational problems and resolve in a timely manner
    • Maintain a clean and orderly working area to 5S standards
    • Assist with recruiting efforts, performance reviews and disciplinary actions
    • Assist in training and developing employees. Ensure adequate staff education and evaluation.
    • Identify, support and demonstrate the core values of our company
    • Responsible for self-development to keep up to date with industry standards
    • Develop team leader succession plans, ensure all roles requiring unique skills have appropriate cross trained backup.


Qualifications:
    

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is require
  • At least three years experience working for with a full service wholesale permittee in a capacity related to the dispensing and distribution of, and record keeping relating to, prescription drugs
  • Prior training and experience in health service administration and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice care or related health programs.
  • 3-5 years of Warehouse/Operations supervisory experience
  • Experience using mainframe and warehouse management system
  • Use of RF technology and Lean and/or Six Sigma is preferred
  • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and set priorities
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance
  • A hands on leadership approach required
  • Ability to operate a forklift preferred  
  • All applicants must be willing to submit a drug screen
