Our recruiting firm (FSN) is looking to fill positions in the distribution industry in the Dallas/Frt Worth region. We are looking for candidates that can work in a fast paced setting in a distribution facility. Food Service or Grocery distribution exp. is a big plus for these positions. Some who has worked in a distribution or manufacturing environment. (Freezer, Cooler, Dry, Grocery, Perishable)
Managers and Supervisors will ensure the maintenacne and proper operation of the warehouse conveyor system and all other material handling equipment, ensuring that all such equipment is operated only by properly trained, fully capable personnel.
| Duties/ Responsibilities: | |
| Oversees all warehouse activities and clerical support. • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance appraisals; rewarding and corrective action for employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. • Must have hands on experience developing and managing a force. • Monitors daily productivity reports. • Reviews daily and weekly workload and ensures adequate staff is scheduled for all areas. • Ensures all general housekeeping conditions are met at the end of the shift. • Maintains a positive employee relations climate through the equal and fair treatment of employees according to company policy/procedures, state and federal guidelines • Works with Warehouse Manager to develop work processes and standards. | |
| Requirements/ Skills: | |
| Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience will be considered. • Ability to work a varied work schedule • The candidate will need to have strong Warehouse and Distribution experience with two to five years direct supervisory experience. • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be computer proficient (Microsoft Office). • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work under high-pressure situations, and manage his/her time effectively. Demonstrates ability to reason and solve problems and be detailed oriented. • Good working knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operation (i.e. Shipping, Receiving, Selecting, Re-pack and Inventory Control). • Experience in operating the following warehouse equipment: Forklift, reach truck, electric and manual pallet jacks, and order picker. • Familiar with Labor Management, WMS, UBS, and RF systems. • Knowledge of ADP E*Time program • Ability to work in a cooler/freezer environment. • |
