Title: Warehouse Team Leader (Central Kitchen)
Location: Middlebury, Indiana
This position involves operating an efficient, productive and safe department, supervise all throughput and support areas as required, coordinates staffing to accommodate seasonal volume and is responsible for leadership and development of those in his/her area of responsibility. This is a hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities:
-Directing day to day personnel movement activities in the warehouse
-Performance of key indicators including but not limited to inventory accuracy, safety, productivity & other key warehouse indicators
-Participating in continuous improvement projects such as scan selection implementation
-Safety, cleanliness, security & organization of warehouse
-Analyzing work flow & developing improvements to maximize productivity
-Ensures that established procedures are followed
Qualifications:
-College degree preferred or experience may be substituted for education
-3-5 years of management/supervisory experience
-Excellent leadership, planning, organizing communication and interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of safety practices, warehouse product handling and basic freight management
-Proficiency with basic computer operations & programs such as Outlook & Excel
-Position requires an individual with strong planning skills
-Ability to give and take direction
-Job ownership with follow through on tasks to completion with expected results
