Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager

Description:

The ideal candidate will possess 7-20 years experience working in environmental engineering, related to water, reclaimed water, or wastewater projects. Responsibilities include report writing, preparation of plans and specifications, and project engineering for wastewater treatment and collection systems and water treatment and distribution systems. Other duties will include project financial and technical management, personnel management, client relations, technical writing, constructability review, developing and maintaining project scope/schedule/fee, overseeing preparation and QA/QC of Contract Documents.

Requirements:

• 
  
  Experience required with water/wastewater/reclaimed water master planning, treatment plant, pump station, and collection/distribution systems design, feasibility studies, value engineering, etc.


• 
  
  B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering and a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in water/wastewater engineering. M.S. degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering and P.E. registration preferred.


• 
  
  Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage water/wastewater projects; and experience in physical, chemical, and biological processes, hydraulics, and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant design; and strong verbal/written communication skills.


• 
  
  Ability to work well in a team environment, strong client service skills, and team management experience are required.


• 
  
  Supervision of staff experience and excellent communication skills required.
