WATER TREATMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Applicant should have experience with high purity water treatment systems and possess strong troubleshooting skills. A good working knowledge of Water Softening, Reverse Osmosis, Ultraviolet Disinfection, Deionization, Filtration, TOC, Equipment Instrumentation and specialty ultra pure piping systems is a plus. Applicant needs to have experience in basic plumbing and electrical skills, with good mechanical aptitude, and be dependable, self-motivated, and detail oriented to service and trouble shoot water treatment equipment at customer accounts.

SCOPE OF REQUIREMENTS: To effectively travel to various customer locations and perform the required services needed to insure the proper operation of the water treatment equipment. To work as a cohesive team with the customer and fellow employees trouble shooting and servicing equipment.  Applicant must possess valid driver's license and will be subject to drug testing and background check. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ROUTINE / TECHNICAL SERVICE 

1) Responsibly drive and maintain the truck with a stocked inventory of spare parts. Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.

2) Perform the following routine service. Exchange portable DI and carbon tanks, RO cleanings, expendable replacements such as UV lamps, filters, equipment rebeds etc...

3) Accurately fill out in detail all related documentation, service reports, log sheets, charts and all pertinent information related to system operation.

4) Perform operational checks of equipment. Calibrate, adjust and regulate operating parameters to meet peak system performance criteria.

5) Respond to emergency service calls. Use available system backups. Repair or replace defective system components.
