Quality Assurance Inspectors

  • Perform various testing and quality inspections in accordance with company and government requirements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in fast-paced environment.
  • Must be detail oriented & have basic math aptitude.
  • Must possess effective written & oral communication skills.
  • Individuals must be willing to work any shift and flexible hours, including weekends.

    Quality Assurance Supervisor/Trainee

    • Selecting, supervising, training & evaluating employees.
    • Collect, analyze, & interpret data .
    • Ensuring HACCP procedures and regulations are followed.
    • Monitoring plant policies and procedures for adherence.
    • Interfacing with plant mgt. staff to ensure that plant quality procedures are followed, taking corrective action when appropriate.
    • Qualified candidates will have prior supervisory experience.
    • Experience with food safety, regulatory, and quality initiatives is helpful, but not required.
    • Must possess effective written & oral communication skills.

    Systems Electricians

    • Knowledge of blueprints, schematic diagrams, and electrical code helpful. Will diagnose, repair, & replace electronic equipment.
    • Troubleshooting of PLC controlled equipment & installation.
    • Maintaining electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
    • Will diagnose, repair, and replace electronic equipment.
    • Previous electrical experience required.

    Systems Engineer

     

    • Analyze, test, & maintain computer systems for automated equipment.
    • Troubleshooting of PLC controlled equipment.
    • Experience with high & low voltage, AC & DC power distributions and control systems & relay logic.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Minimum high school or GED, two year vocation school or equivalent job experience.  Skills in Word, Excel, Windows 95/NT, Auto CAD and object oriented graphics and development. 

    Production Supervisor/Production Supervisor Trainee

    • Supervise plant production & assure plant procedures are followed.
    • Ability to develop leadership & management skills to direct daily workforce activities.
    • Must be mechanically inclined and have strong communication skills.

    Production Operators

    • No experience necessary, will train.
    • Must be willing to work any shift including weekends.
    • Stable work history is required.
    • Positions available include Forklift Operators, Sorters, and Clean-up.

    Maintenance Supervisor

     

    • Supervise the repair and routine maintenance of machinery.
    • Maintain thorough understanding of all equipment utilized in on-going plant operation to ensure safe efficient operation.
    • Ensure completion of maintenance work orders.
    • Service precision machine parts.
    • Hydraulic & ammonia refrigeration experience..
    • Advanced mechanical/technical schooling or experience preferred.

    Maintenance Mechanics

    • Qualified individuals will have an above average mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting a variety of machinery and mechanical systems in an industrial environment preferred.
    • Must be a mechanically inclined self starter.
    • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.

    Plant Safety Supervisor

    • Ensure that appropriate safety orientation and technical training is completed by all employees.
    • Monitor the presence of contractors, ensuring appropriate safety training is received.
    • Ensure that OSHA and Company safety standards are met in all areas.
    • Conduct investigation of all work-related accidents and medical case management for injured workers. Ensure preventative action is taken immediately.
    • Maintain and perform regular safety audits to assure that the plant environment is safe and hazard-free.
    • Requires a minimum of three years of progressively responsible plant or meat industry experience.
    • Knowledge of current OSHA/ Workers' Compensation/ Safety regulations required.

    Training Supervisor

    • Ensure that all hourly, management support, and management employees receive appropriate training necessary to their jobs.
    • Track and maintain all pertinent training records and submit all reports on time.
    • Continually look for new and creative ways to ensure training initiatives are met.
    • Part of the Management team responsible for identifying and assessing employees for the purpose of developing an overall plant/department succession plan.
    • Works with Plant Coordinator as well as all other departments in keeping everyone informed of the status of all training programs.
    • A 2-year college degree in Safety, Training or related discipline preferred. Well-rounded practical experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Prior training experience or related experience preferred.
    • Bi-lingual skills in Spanish a plus but not required.

    Equipment Operators

     

    • Performs equipment control operations for production.
    • Complies with sanitation & safety requirements.
    • Must possess good mechanical aptitude & skills.

    Raw Material Coordinator

    • Receiving of raw material into facility.  Coordinate docking, assist quality assurance in taking incoming product temperature and ensure dry ice is available for incoming loads.
    • Ship finished product, ensure proper seals, and billing paperwork.
    • Forklift experience & computer skills necessary.
