Job Description

Modis is seeking a Web Analytics consultant for a 3 month contract to hire position with our industry leading client in Wilmington, DE.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating reports, analysis and actionable trend information to help the e-Business team understand and enhance the user's website experience and develop the information and analysis to help the company make informed, data driven Web development and marketing decisions.  
  • Position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the web analytics system to ensure tracking, reporting and analytics are functioning optimally.

Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience working with standard web analytics systems such as Omniture, WebTrends, WebSideStory, Unica or similar.  
  • Experience with TeaLeaf is also strongly preferred.
  • Experience analyzing website performance, trends and click stream path analysis activity to provide data driven business insights, leading to fundamental improvements to the Website experience.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence changes on the Website.
  • Able to create and maintain key reports, dashboards, and analysis utilizing the web analytics ssytem.
  • Able to identify and track trends in metrics and be able to identify improvements to Website based on usage and traffic patterns.
  • Able to develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the websites.
  • Familiarity with WAI Accessibility Guidelines.
  • Understanding and experience with web analytics, we metrics, data tagging, site measurement tools and running reporting using SQL.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
