Milton CAT, a global player in Construction Machinery, is one of the largest Caterpillar Dealers in the United States, with a company history dating back to 1940.  Headquartered in Milford MA, the company maintains 15 offices throughout New England and upstate, NY.

Candidate will be based in Milford, at Corporate Headquarters, and work with the IS team to develop, support and enhance software applications applying proper company programming standards.  The environment will have defined software development technologies and methodologies including user interface standards and development tools. The major responsibilities will include:

1.      Analyze user specifications and requirements.

2.      Design, code, test and debug web/windows based applications mostly using .Net technologies and SQL Server 2005. ASP.net and IIS experience is a plus.

3.      Utilize Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Designer. Knowledge of MOSS and WSS is a plus.

4.      Understand IBM ISeries technologies in order to integrate applications with the corporate ERP system.

5.      Work with our S/W Vendors on ongoing and new development projects.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Three year programming experience with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio) using .Net and SQL Server 2005.  Junior level developers will be considered.
