Web Based Application/Database Developer

Summary

The Web Based Application and Database Developer will construct web oriented forms and applications to compliment business processes and workflows in manufacturing organization.

Primary Responsibilities

1)      Business Processes and workflow analysis

a.      Analyze business processes and workflows

b.      Develop and design web based forms and applications to meet business process and workflow demands

2)      Internal Web Page Development

a.      Develop and write code to support web applications which relate to company procedures and workflows

b.      Experience designing and developing web applications using various technologies and languages such as: CSS, .NET (all versions), Visual Studio, C#, HTML, Flash

3)      MS SQL

a.      Automate SQL Server and Data transformation and integrity processes

b.      Write and Modify SSRS Reports

c.       Write stored procedures and queries

d.      Properly index databases

e.      Monitor SQL servers and databases

f.        Analyze and tunes queries

g.      Plan and perform database maintenance

h.      Improve adherence to relational database best practices

i.        Tune queries, investigate, and repair database performance issues

j.        Query Databases to Report on Key Performance Indicators

Secondary Responsibilities

1)      PC and LAN Support

a.      Basic PC Support for MS Windows XP, 7 & 8 in a domain networked environment

b.      MS Office 2003, 2010

c.       MS SharePoint 2003/2010

d.      MS Windows 2003/2008 Server

e.      System virtualization awareness, specifically VMware

Requirements

1)      Degree in computer science or related field

2)      3+ years working with MS SQL Databases (2000, 2005, 2008, 2012)

3)      3+ years of Web Development Experience

4)      Strong .NET, C#, HTML, HTML 5, JavaScript, ASP, CSS, XML, Web Services, Flash, PHP

5)      Proficient in design and layout of web based applications and forms

6)      Intermediate level of understanding for relational database concepts and best practices
