The Web Designer is responsible for the design of online content, applications and components for a large variety of Clients. Designs should be based on usability best practices while promoting a Clients unique value proposition to insure the success of every project. Prior experience with testing/optimization tools (ex. Google Website Optimizer) is an asset.

 

Must be proficient in HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform all aspects of the website design lifecycle, create technical and business documents

·         Manage multiple projects and deliverables with tight deadlines

·         Create creative strategy documents for the team and clients

·         Provide ad hoc design support for usability audits and business development

·         Provide supporting research and analysis used in copy and design development

 

People Management:

·         Collaborate with team lead to scope new test designs

·         Must be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to changing environments

·         Work effectively with several teams and Clients

·         Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all levels of the agency and client representatives

 

Requirements:

·         Proficient in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and JavaScript

·         Advanced ability in writing and reviewing cross-browser compatible HTML, and CSS.

·         Interest in usability and optimization will be a benefit for future growth potential

·         Experience with existing frameworks such as jQuery or Prototype is a plus

·         Previous experience with online testing tools is a plus

·         2+ years of work related experience in web design and coding

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred

       JavaScript is a plus.
