POSITION STATEMENT

The incumbent will have overall responsibility for working on a variety of web based projects. The incumbent will be responsible for designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our corporate web sites/applications. This includes basic design, overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES   Current duties may be changed if job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

·       Responsible for design maintenance of all corporate web sites and other electronic publications and applications.

·       Deals with preparation of illustrative materials from artists and vendors.

·       Ensures that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.

·       Works with Marketing, Public Relations and Development staff on style and approach for all projects.

·       Provides design elements, comps, templates, and finished solutions.

·       Participates in efforts to improve quality of web sites and other electronic publications as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Knowledge of technologies and applications.

·       Fluent with HTML, PHP, ASP and JavaScript

·       Strong knowledge of Adobe Flash and Action Script 

·       Experience with database technologies as SQL and MySql 

·       Experience with data driven websites and web portals like SharePoint sites

·       Light graphic design experience

·       Knowledge of software including: Director, Camtasia, Fireworks, Soundforge, Photoshop, Freehand, Dreamweaver, ImageReady

·        Three to four years experience in Web-based graphic design or web interface design,

·        B.A. or B.S desired but not required.

·       Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups.  

·       Strong Written communication skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

·       B/S or B/A preferred.

·       Good written communication skills.  Incumbent must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written report, business correspondence and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements.

·       Good oral communication and interpersonal skills.  Incumbent must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all Banfi Associates. Incumbent must articulate in a professional and personable manner.

·       Knowledge of PCs and laptops, working within Microsoft Office – Word and/or Power Point and/or Excel.

·       Ability to handle concurrent tasks.

·       Reasoning ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of statistical information.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

·       Current valid driver’s license.

·       No DWI (driving while intoxicated) offenses.  This may be cause for disqualification or termination if found guilty.
