Requirements

·         A strong portfolio of work demonstrating excellent graphic design skills

·         A good understanding of color theory, design fundamentals and an eye for layout and visual organization of elements a must

·         Demonstrated mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash

·         Great attention to detail, focus and ability to meet tight deadlines is essential

·         Experience creating and manipulating vector graphics

·         Expertise in hand-coding XHTML/CSS to create semantic, standards-compliant versions of your designs

·         Must possess the aptitude to learn new technologies and enjoy new challenges that may fall outside that of a traditional web design skill set.

·         Solid understanding of web standards and browser compatibility issues

·        Previous experience with Javascript  and jQuery preferred

 

 

 

Additional Skills

·         Familiarity with Microsoft web technologies/products such as ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, Visual Source Safe, SQL Server a plus

·         Previous experience designing for large scale web applications is a plus

·         Previous experience in designing software interfaces a plus

·         Ajax and OOP experience is a plus

·         Copywriting skills a plus
