Fort Myers based multi-store retail chain is seeking an experienced Web Designer.

The qualified candidate must possess strong skills in the area of Web Design and Graphic Arts application and development.  The candidate must have the ability to communicate well with company management.

Basic responsibilities: Work with management staff to develop a content rich selling web site by designing, executing, maintaining and upgrading service on a daily basis. 

Duties:

• Plans site design by clarifying management’s goals; those to include ease of navigation as well as interesting and engaging page layout, graphics & content. 

• Develops site navigation by categorizing content; model specifications and images to be provided by a third party supplier, to be integrated into site by Web Designer

• Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with management; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc. 

• Works with in-house IT Manager to host site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.

• Establishes site awareness and draws traffic by registering with search engines and seeking out opportunities to present to management.
