Network Solutions, one of the leading providers of products and services to small and medium sized businesses has an exciting web designer opportunity based in our corporate headquarters in Herndon, Virginia. This person will possess excellent HTML and CSS skills and be expected to deliver HTML based on comps and/or wireframes, as well as produce their own designs for use on the site. They will be asked to update multiple websites, design landing pages and create other web content as needed.
They must have examples of real work designs and be able to demonstrate a portfolio of design that includes 3 URLs of live websites.
Use comps and wireframes to code HTML/CSS web pages
Must possess a high degree of creativity as well as technical production skills
Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to convey ideas and information clearly, concisely and persuasively
Ability to analyze issues and implement solutions
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Flexibility, good judgment and attention to detail essential
Prioritize work under pressure
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills |
Job Experience
|
- Minimum of at least 3-5 years of working experience in Web Design
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline
- Excellent skills using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in a PC environment.
- Experience in creating and testing cross-browser compatible web pages (IE, Mozilla/Firefox, and Safari).
- Experience with CSS style standards.
- Ability to construct table less layouts
- Ecommerce experience a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently
