Web Developer

We are currently recruiting for a Web Developerin Baltimore.  . The Web Developer will build elegant and efficient semantic web sites and help to maintain all existing digital properties, working both in front-end and back-end code. Developer will implement using SEO and usability best practices and adhere to company style guide and/or established development processes. Site builds will be executed from provided wireframes, mock-ups and other conceptual/visual specifications using the latest HTML and CSS methods.

Developer should be readily equipped to anticipate, troubleshoot and solve cross-browser compatibility issues. Developer will document applications for both tech and user-side use cases. Multi-tasking and attention to detail will be important in managing responsibilities across multiple project timelines. This position is full-time and provides competitive salary and benefits.

 

Requirements:

  • Expert with HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Expert with PHP and MySQL (using PDO)
  • Expert implementing functions of Javascript libraries such as JQuery and JQuery Mobile
  • Experience with implementing AJAX calls and handling XML or JSON data.
  • Experience with Subversion, CVS, Git and/or other version control systems
  • Experience with Drupal
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop (or similar)
  • Working knowledge of MVC frameworks (ie: Zend, CakePHP, etc...)
