Web developer needed for development and maintenance of custom knowledgebase solution used by DSL technical support agents in call center environment. Solution is based on Win2000/2003 Servers, SQL Server 2000/2005, IIS, and Index Server. Job duties will include general maintenance of existing applications, customization/modification of 'off the shelf software', as well as new application development associated with the knowledgebase.

Requirements

*         Required skills include experience with web development using the following technologies: XHTML 1.0, DHTML, SQL Server 2000/2005, Transact SQL, Javascript, and ASP.Net/classic ASP using both vbScript and some C# as scripting languages.

*         It is also desired that the candidate possess the ability to gather and refine project requirements.

*         Proficiency with HTML development, interface design, look and feel, navigation, and usability are necessary.

*         Experience with Visual Studio 2005 and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 is essential.

*         Experience with database design, development, and maintenance using SQL Server 2000/2005 are required.

Additional Requirements:

*         Positions need to be filled by mid-November in order to begin training.

*         Three months training is required with the DSL National Staff Support team.

*         Travel to DSL National Staff Support team locations for training

*         Hours of operation 8am - 5pm

*         Required to work after hours, during maintenance windows, for system

*         upgrades as necessary

*         Possible on-call schedule

*         This support staff would need access to all systems and tools that CSRs use in the HSI and FiOS call centers

*         Require connectivity to data center in which the knowledge base will be located.
