Web DeveloperAs a member of Digi’s fast-paced web team this position is responsible for the design and development of the corporate web, ecommerce, intranet, and extranet sites, including the incorporation of the graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques, as well as other web-based or interactive design projects.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
· Responsible for the ongoing design, browser-side development, and maintenance of the company web properties.
· Instrumental in the designing and establishing web look and feel guidelines.
· Evaluates, tracks and reports web performance analytics.
· Collaborates with other departments on websites, micro sites, landing pages and other interactive projects.
Position Requirements:
· Degree in related field or practical job experience. At least 3 years of experience in the field of web design and web development. Experience in other mediums, such and print or video.
· Expert in HTML, CSS, Flash, ActionScript and JavaScript.
· Advanced knowledge of JSP, PHP, ColdFusion, and SQL.
· Advanced knowledge of Abobe CS suite, Windows OS, Mac OS, Unix, and other common design tools.
· Advanced knowledge of SEO, and SEM strategies.
· Understanding of XML, jQuery, and web services a plus.
