MMTC seeks a full-time staff Web Developer/Project Manager who will be responsible for the creation, development and optimization of MMTC client websites to defined contract specifications. Requirements include:
· Creation, development and optimization of client websites
o Provide examples / URLs of past work
· Ability to explain components of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and demonstrated ability to implement and measure impact results
· Proficiency in a Content Management System (CMS) environment
o Joomla preferred.
· Knowledge and use of Plug-Ins, or custom dynamic programming (experience with PHP and scripting)
o Including, but not limited to Shopping Carts and Secure Log-In functionality
· Ability to design or customize site templates, including fluency in CSS
· Experience with Adobe PhotoShop or PSE
· Familiarity with Royalty-Free photographs and other purchased content sources
· Knowledge of FTP sites, hosts and protocols to provide client assistance in transferring files, and making sites live with various hosts
· Familiarity with database construction, use and mining (MySQL preferred)
· Familiarity with Social Media and how to leverage for increased website traffic
· Understanding of methods to improve and track website traffic qualification / conversion
· Support of sales staff to properly define the scope of client needs and contract
· Demonstrated project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
This is a full-time staff position, located in our Plymouth headquarters. Occasional travel to client sites for project work or sales calls may be necessary.
Additional requirements:
· Degree preferred, but training certifications and demonstrated work experience may be considered
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accountability for project deadlines
· Understanding of when surfaced issues should be escalated to management in order to maintain project timelines
· Ability to work with, and clearly communicate to, matrix teams and offsite resources
