Description:
As a General Dynamics employee in Pittsfield, MA, you will be responsible for developing Enterprise SOA solutions within software engineering across a variety of Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) programs. You will apply expertise in Enterprise SOA solutions in the areas of system architectures, modeling, requirements development, concept development, integration and test, and performance analysis on government programs. You will also support the development of a culture of innovative thinking, define and integrate SOA process and practices, and drive best-of-breed tools to support development and maintenance of Enterprise systems. You will have demonstrated experience applying industry standards-based solutions.

Specific technical responsibilities include:
- Specification, design, development and deployment of SOA-based solutions, web services, and COTS Integration. Liferay portal experience.
- Interface definition and data management planning
- Migration of existing Enterprise systems to SOA-based implementations
- Application of Java Enterprise domain and Enterprise architecture for high availability systems
- Integration and troubleshooting
- Support and implementation of the Agile development paradigm within a DoD context
