Mindspark Interactive is seeking a JavaScript Genius to join our talented Web Development team.

Position Summary

As a Front End Web Developer, you will assist in the front-end development and maintenance of a wide-variety of web based products.

• Leverage cutting-edge technologies to build new products and businesses
• Quickly and efficiently design and implement applications in an agile environment
• Meet with product/project managers to define new/additional features for a variety of applications
• Implement and support projects through in all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Actively share knowledge and responsibility with other team members

Technical Requirements

• Fluency in HTML and CSS;
• Advanced Javascript skills (DHTML, DOM scripting, OOP, AJAX);
• Flash/ActionScript 2.0/3.0/FLEX experience;
• Experience with XML and JSON;
• Familiarity with SVN or other source control software

Additional Requirements

• Builds, verifies, releases and supports projects in both development and production environments including successful management of revisions;
• Plays a direct role in the programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications;
• Skilled at quickly and intelligently solving a wide range of front-end engineering issues in a forward thinking manner;
• Drive to learn and take on new challenges
• Keeps abreast of industry and technology trends
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Proactively assess new technologies to enhance the development process and environment

Experience and Education

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media (or equivalent)
