About the Job
We are seeking an interactive developer who will participate in project planning, provide technical direction, and roll up their sleeves to develop solutions with positive results. The right person is someone who will be a thought leader and business partner internally, using their technical expertise to provide insightful solutions while identifying new and emerging opportunities.
The interactive developer is responsible for all technical development and support of interactive projects, both Flash-based and otherwise. Candidate must have a solid understanding of web production processes, a strong desire for innovation, a passion for elegant coding and a strong understanding of online marketing tactics.
Experience working in a creative agency is strongly desired and the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere while working with a diverse range of talents, personalities and teams.
Must have a strong track record with Flash and ActionScript. Rapid executions should be second nature as well as the ability to clearly articulate the technical implications of creative or implementation decisions.
Projects include:
- Online advertising
- Web-based promotions and campaigns
- Bulk e-mail
- Website/Microsite development
- Widget/App development
- Multimedia projects
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of emerging interactive technologies
- Creative insight with a keen eye for clean user interface implementation
- Knowledge of web site design best practices
- Skill and experience planning data flows for a new or revised database
- Ability to maintain data and web 2.0 standards, including writing of documentation, procedures, and definitions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong QA skills
Technical Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency with web design and implementation (e.g., Flash, HTML, DHTML, AJAX, Ruby, XML, Perl/ CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript, ASP, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Cross browser & platform compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari and Opera on Win & OSX)
