Web Developer - Requires Polygraph

This position is located in our VA, Chantilly facility



Develop and implement Web applications. Experience with HTML and browser compatibility baselines. Knowledge of section 508 user accessibility guidelines. Experienced in database design, tuning, and database driven web development. Experienced in Dreamweaver MX or similar product.
Web developer for collaboration team developing portal applications. Work with stakeholders as well as technical and analytical counterparts to define constraints, and develop requirements and concept of operations documentation. Work with stakeholders to identify best-fit technical solutions for business unit needs. Work directly with the customer stakeholders to review mission needs, define requirements, envision possible solution approaches, and to design, build, test, and deploy solution configurations on the sharepoint platform.
Assist with end-user support needs and perform troubleshooting and issue resolution. Identify, analyze, define, and coordinate user, customer and stakeholder needs and translates them into technical requirements. Provide conceptual design, prototype, and test cycles appropriate to a chosen technical solution. Identify and manage dependencies with other systems and elements of the IT infrastructure. Evaluate industry offering to identify products and technologies with the potential to support the design. Help the project or program team prepare for Project Management Framework milestones. Participate in project or program team activities. Record lessons learned, processes and procedures, and other pertinent quality topics in appropriate formats. Work with project personnel to resolve schedule problems and ensure developed applications and systems are transitioned to customers in a timely manner. Validate system elements and requirements. Assess system designs to validate them against expected technical parameters. Identify hardware and applications needed to complete the development process. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of publishing standards including SGML, HTML, and XML; Current C# programming experience; Experience in .NET development; Current ASPX programming experience; Current SharePoint Designer development experience; Experience deploying, securing, and customizing SharePoint site collections; Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security Model, Events, Alerts, and Workflows; Experience using Visual Studio; Experience working with the Agile Project Management Methodology. Requires BS/BA degree.

An in-depth knowledge of the Intelligence Community. Web development experience. Knowledge of the project life cycle. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to convey technical information to nontechnical individuals. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical and nontechnical issues (e.g. equipment, systems, networks, computer operations, cover issues etc). Requires 8-10 years experience.
