Web Graphic Designer

OneCoast (www.onecoast.com), the only national sales & marketing organization serving the collegiate, gift, and home décor industries, is looking to extend its sales and marketing strength by leveraging the Internet and other electronic forms of communication. OneCoast seeks a Web Graphic Designer to join a highly collaborative and fast-paced team of marketing professionals.

The Web Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design of email and internet marketing communication materials to our retailers and vendors.

• Design email marketing campaigns that are both appealing and highly usable


• Develop web based landing pages and supporting materials with a focus on ecommerce usability


• Design and develop content that motivates retailers to purchase online


• Work closely with online marketing team to generate effective communications

§  Work in a highly collaborative, fast paced and evolving environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, interactive media design, web design or marketing


• 0-3 years of experience in designing online materials


• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite required


• Outstanding web design experience; portfolio of work is expected


• Knowledge of CSS, HTML and basic web page development


• Project management skills including organizing and managing multiple projects.


• Ability to multi-task and take direction in a team environment

Desired Experiences:

• Strong creative skills, with a clearly defined design point of view


• Understanding of basic html coding for email preferred


• Strong understanding of designing in Adobe Flash a huge plus


• Experience in email campaigns, setting up email templates and building landing pages


• Experience in usability best practices and marketing basics


• Understanding of .NET and ASP a plus


• Understanding javascript is a plus


• Good understanding of web and email marketing standards
