Web Hosting Operations Manager We are currently looking for a technical leader within the fast-paced, dynamic Go Daddy Linux Hosting Operations team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who has a broad range of expertise across web application builds and deployment, cross team coordination, and systems management. This position is responsible for maintaining system availability, project completion, capacity, patching and upgrades, incident resolution, tier 3 support for Go Daddy's shared and virtual hosting products, process standards and procedures across all Linux shared and virtual hosting platforms.
What does the job entail? - Define metrics to measure performance productivity and quality and then improve those metrics.
- Analyze business needs and incorporate ideas, applications, and requirements into existing and new products.
- Manage application builds, deployments, and maintenance and application escalations during normal business hours.
- Provide direct feedback regarding enhancement of products/services/support tools.
- Analyze trends in support and products and initiate timely and accurate responses
- Lead a team of application administrators and engineers and possess the ability to troubleshoot application issues.
- The interception and handling of application issues before the initiation of the escalation process.
- Creation, revision, and administration of internal knowledge documents.
- Identification and assistance in the resolution of department system and process issues
- Provide a conduit of communication between all departments and facilitate follow up communications on unresolved incidents and issues.

What do you need to do this job? - Minimum of 3 years technical lead/management experience.
- Web application hosting experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages (PHP knowledge preferred), databases, e-commerce, web development, and search engine optimization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related relevant degree or experience.
- Experience as a Linux administrator, engineer or lead required
- Experience in Network administration desired
