Web and Interactive Designer

Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, is the premiere provider of armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing, document destruction and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities.  The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees.  We have a challenging opportunity for a Web and Interactive Designer. The Web and Interactive Designer will be responsible for updating and managing content for corporate web sites and act as a point of contact for gathering and identifying web sites processes to keep content fresh and updated regularly. The Web and Interactive Designer plays a key role in developing and preserving the integrity of all web and multimedia marketing materials. This includes ongoing maintenance and development of new features to web sites and sales CD/DVDs. The Web and Multimedia Designer will work closely with the Global Communications Specialists to collaborate on Marketing collateral such as Web and other interactive content.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Responsibilities will primarily be in the updating corporate websites and creation of interactive CDs, but will also include providing support in the development and production of videos, multimedia presentations and Flash animations.

·         Other responsibilities would be collaborate with our internal IT team and client-side marketing managers to concept and develop innovative, interactive solutions.

·         Direct and coordinate 3rd party services for multimedia productions such as CD-ROM production, web and multimedia programming, video and audio production as needed.

·         Will serve as a member of the project team to clearly define and meet established deadlines and milestones. Additionally, will identify, address, and solve technical problems as they relate to interface and screen design.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree in graphic design, web development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in web design and multimedia
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Experience in working with different cultures and international customers

·         Must have the skills to  translate designs into motion and must be capable of repeatedly delivering compelling experiences that exceed the expectations of our most demanding clients.

  • Creating layouts and storyboards in Flash
  • Proven ability to manage and organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative team setting
  • Habitually on top of current trends and developments
  • Test and build cycles is a plus
  • Web design and development
  • Multimedia presentation design
  • Banner and email design and development
  • Streaming Media
  • Flexible and willing to work on multiple projects simultaneously with light supervision.
  • Work well under deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment.
  • Should have experience with digital media and video editing.
  • Be organized and have a meticulous eye for detail in both typography and color.
  • Independent ideas required, and creative writing is a plus. Solid design skills but less experience considered.
  • Work well with a variety of people and the commitment to complete projects on time and efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual skills, a good understanding of all technical aspects of multimedia and web production and an excellent portfolio of web and multimedia design projects.
