Job Description
The Web Merchandise Manager role will combine buying skills and online merchandising skills to drive online and store sales. The Web Merchandise Manager will work closely with the Merchandising team to identify, plan, and build e-commerce opportunities for the Quiksilver brand. 

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Web Management:
• Website: product assortment, trend / color stories, outfit merchandising, cross-sells, up-sells, promotions, function website feature set
• Provide analysis on coverage, style performance and suggest reorders/cancellations
• Manage product information and selection for online and catalog marketing campaigns
• Work with merchandise and marketing teams to coordinate product selection, trends, outfits, and marketing campaigns
Buying:
• Partner with M&D to develop retail – exclusive product each season – ensuring product is commercially viable and maintains brand image.
• Work with the Director of Planning in all aspects of the OTB process to manage sales plan, gross margin and WOS.
• Identify business opportunities by class and maximize growth by product category.
• Build an assortment for the online stores that is well balanced between key volume drivers, corporate initiatives and trend pieces.
• Work on web visuals that focus on our key ideas each season. 
• Partner with allocations on initial monthly distribution to maximize the online store and product potential. 
• Manage inventory via allocations and monthly transfers.  Reorder product and absorb corporate ATS when necessary to fill need.

Job Requirements:
• Buying / merchandising experience
• Extensive knowledge of catalog and e-commerce merchandising methodologies
• Complete understanding of the web customer experience
• Strong Excel skills for business analysis
• Web browser skills for merchandise management systems
• Understanding of basic HTML welcome but not required
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
