About the Job
Highly proficient writing standards-compliant HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Experience with MySQL required, and experience with Unix or Linux and Mac OS X a plus.
Familiarity with the entire web development process from gathering requirements through design, coding and deployment is required. Experience developing e-commerce sites. An understanding of SEO best practices helpful. Must have familiarity with MVC programming with a knowledge of Magento preferred.
Experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Homesite, BBEdit or equivalent applications necessary. Familiarity with basic print design concepts including some experience with applications such as InDesign, Quark and Illustrator helpful.
This position requires the ability to look at the scope of the project and estimate the time and cost involved in completing the project. It also involves basic administration of web, mail and FTP servers.
We are a Mac based agency, so familiarity with Macs necessary.
