SECURA Insurance is looking for a well-rounded individual, with a willingness to learn and take direction in a dynamic, changing environment.

Skillsets include web publishing, more technical tasks related to a webmaster type of role, as well as others more closely aligned with a system administrator type of position.

The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and javascript, and be able to hand-code/debug tool-generated output when needed, while still taking a reasoned approach with templates, reusability, and extensibility in mind. Individual should also be able to perform image processing related tasks for web publishing. Prior experience with Dreamweaver is a plus.

Webmaster tasks include file management, user management, as well as the generation of usage statistics.

Other duties include system monitoring, backups, and server maintenance; candidate should not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and open up a machine when needed. Prior experience with Linux/Unix systems preferred, as well as with shell or Perl scripting.

Bachelors degree in computer science is a plus.
