Overview: The person in this role will develop and execute the vision for the organization’s web strategy while positioning the website(s) as an effective resource for the organization’s varied external and internal customer sets. Duties · Develop and execute organization’s web strategy · Budgetary responsibility for web resources, externally and internally · Design the look and feel, navigation, content and features of the websites while planning implementation of functional design · Recognize web technology trends and determine how they can influence and contribute to the needs of the business · Ensure that the site’s content is fresh, accurate, presented effectively online, and addresses the goals of both the business and the site’s visitors to maximize the customer experience · Envision, oversee, and help implement new content initiatives and site redesigns · Drive initiatives to facilitate interactivity and customer engagement within the web sphere. · Source, establish, and sustain external business relationships to fulfill specific web needs in support of web strategy deployment · Establish and maintain business processes to maintain content and provide content updates that will be determined by fact-based decision making, usability and timelines · Coordinate with and direct as necessary IT, marketing, other functional groups in a matrix organization to deliver on objectives · Track and analyze usage statistics from current solutions to discover potential areas for improvement and resource optimization. Qualifications · This position requires a high-energy, self-directed, deadline-oriented individual who has exceptional communication skills · As a newly created position, it is critical that this individual understands and has experience in key web strategies: o Primary site design, development, management o Portal/User defined/Extranet site strategy, creation, development o Online database capture and management o Microsite strategy o Interactive web design methodologies – Flash, Java, etc. o Search engine optimization o Search engine marketing o Outbound and syndicated web marketing, RSS feeds, blogging, podcasting o Banner advertising analysis o Social media applications o E-Commerce applications o Usage statistics · Bachelor degree in Graphics, Web Design, Marketing or related discipline. MBA strongly preferred. · Proven work experience of 7 – 10 years in the development and execution of online resources Click Here to Apply
