SOA design & troubleshooting
Legacy migration to new order management (international expansion)
AIX upgrade

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manages WebSphere installations, upgrades, migration, modifications, performance management and configuration.
Acts as code and build manager for WebSphere applications.
Prior Java/J2EE development experience with Websphere
Experience working through the IBM PMR process.
JMS API Experience.
HTTP Plug-in & Web Container experience.
Service Integration Bus Security experience.
Oversees technical support team and maintains schedules and on-call rotations.
Experience with Jython scripting is required.
Automates administration, reports and tasks.
Manages interactions with members from internal and vendor organizations.
Troubleshoots, Investigates, resolves and recommends solutions for resolving application hosting issues.
Develops application and operational processes needed to model, integrate, automate and manage efficient and flexible business processes.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required, Master*s Degree preferred.
5 plus years solid WebSphere System Management and Architecture experience managing 24/7 applications.
In depth experience with WebSphere 6.1 ND.
Fluent with AIX, and familiar with other flavors of UNIX.
