The Webmaster / Project Manager reports into the Quiznos Marketing department. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and will serve as a Webmaster within the creative department with a special focus on all projects related to online consumer communications. This will include strategic planning and the creative leadership in the development of web-based solutions that are initiated in efforts to meet Quiznos Go Forward Plan.
Overall Duties and Responsibilities:
Main priorities revolve around on time, on strategy and on budget management of all web related projects.
· Manage Quiznos.com site communications and enhancements.
· Manage the Quiznos Q-Club online database. Maintain accuracy of list.
· Present and manage new ways to grow Q Club data base list.
· Manage any micro sites, emails, banner advertising, Facebook aps etc.
· Assist on the DBQ site look and feel and site enhancements.
· Monitor and report on site performance and trends.
· Implement and monitor search engine optimization for Quiznos.com.
· Manage Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns to achieve optimum ROI for individual active search terms for each of the major search engines.
· Assist Media team with Rich Media Ad Display campaigns to optimize spend and placement to achieve ROI on conversion rates
· Work closely with the brand managers (or other internal clients) to set and fulfill a marketing campaign’s predetermined goals and targets
· Circulate efficient and accurate reporting on a weekly basis, detailing results of each web marketing campaign and possible areas of improvement.
· Monitor and report on competitive web sites, promotions and digital initiatives.
· Maximize online affiliate opportunities and revenue generation for the brand. (Manage all online related value add efforts.)
· Support all email loyalty communication by:
o Coordinate with Interactive Director to and support messaging around current campaigns.
o Developing/implementing wireframe and creative based on consumer events and behaviors
o Manage/coordinate email service provider(s)
o Work with Quiznos database manager and IT for CRM database integration.
· Stay on top of latest emerging technologies and find ways to add cost effective and proven ideas to the media mix
· Present trends reports to marketing team on emerging technology.
· Manage multi layered budget. Initiate PO's, approve vendor estimates and negotiate vendor pricing.
· Manage all online coupons and the sites that host the coupons.
Skills / Attributes Required
· Proven Website Management / Project Management experience
· Proven web related design experience. Traditional design experience a plus.
· Thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques
· Experience with running and evaluating online marketing campaigns, which will include the management of Pay Per Click (PPC), rich media ad display, and other emerging technology campaigns
· Flexible attitude with proven experience on implementing quick turn-around solutions
· Ability to work with multiple departments / potential vendors and coordinate deliverables
· Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
· Comfort with numbers and managing multiple layered budgets – planning, tracking and reporting.
