Webmaster / Web Designer - eCommerce
About the Job
Growing internet retailer is looking for experienced Webmaster to perform day-to-day maintenance, optimization, design and development of company’s eCommerce websites.
VERY IMPORTANT: This is a full time, permanent position working out of Brooklyn NY office. Freelancers will NOT be considered. Please read qualifications carefully. We thouroughly test for all required technical skills. Please apply only if you fully and truly qualify.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a webmsater or web designer within eCommerce industry
- Expert level knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Photoshop, PHP- all absolute must
- Thorough knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers
- Experience with Magento platform a big plus
- Strong visual aesthetic skills and knowledge of user interface issues, including web graphics and layout.
- Thorough knowledge of SEO and PPC techniques
- Immaculate attention to details and organizational skills
Specific responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operation, maintenance and optimization of existing websites
- Creation of innovative page design, banners, newsletters and email blasts
- Writing and editing website copy and content
