The Website Manager must be able to take initiative, be a well rounded and accountable individual responsible for executing the website strategy, manage the website, maintain contact with content vendors as well as adding new content to the website along with a group of supporting sites. The Website Manager will be a team player responsible for the implementation of strategies, keyword analysis, creating and executing marketing campaigns and maintaining performance.

Responsibilities
The Website Manager's daily responsibilities include:
Maintain expectations and goals related to website performance. 
Editing/proofreading content for style, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and search engine friendliness.
Entering content and associated metadata into the content administration system.
Overall governing of the websites including content, incoming links and conversion metrics.
Negotiate with other site owners regarding link exchange.
Creat rfps for outsourced projects
Web project management
Management of contract designers and writers.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate must have the following experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field. 
3+ years experience managing, assessing and editing professional web sites and applications. 
Be familiar with Internet advertising campaigns and marketing strategies. 
Extensive knowledge of traffic analysis and conversion metrics. 
Analytical skills and ability to produce spreadsheets in support of findings and reports.
Strong creative writing, accurate proofing and editing skills. 
Knowledge of HTML and graphics software.
Ability to multi task, work under deadlines and make sound business decisions.
Excellent organizational, time management and creative problem solving skills.
Attention to detail and follow thru with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. 
Experience with new media like blogs, social bookmarking, etc. to implement into site strategy. 
Must be able to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment and be self directed and creative.
