About the Job
- *Must have a Valid current driver’s license and social security card.
- *GED / High School Diploma required.
- Good references from previous employers.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in arc welding is required. Marine or shipyard welding is preferred.
- Previous manual labor is required, and bobcat operation a plus.
Partial list of Job Responsibilities:
- Work Hours: Standard schedule is 40 hours per week; overtime required at times.
- Schedule may vary depending on operational needs.
- Duties: Marine watertight welding, topside and drydock maintenance and repair, cleaning, carrying of tools and heavy lifting up to 75 lbs., painting and chipping,
- Confined entry into spaces measuring 3X12X25, climbing ladders in excess of 40 feet, and all other duties as assigned.
