Blowout Tools, Inc., a division Superior Energy Services, specializes in furnishing rental tools such as blowout preventers, choke manifolds, spools, adapters, flanges, piping, and downhole valves and nipples for drilling, workover, high pressure workover, coiled tubing, snubbing, blowout, and ultra-deep water and horizontal drilling operations. In addition, this company performs hot tap services, gate valve drilling, and freeze services.

Blowout Tools, Inc. is seeking an Wellhead Service Operator (Level 2) to join their team in Lafayette, LA. This person will use their mechanical aptitude and experience, along with their significant oilfield experience, to make BTI more efficient and profitable. Only experienced, hard workers who are interested in international travel need to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Pass all required Safety and Well Control required programs to be present on well site locations
• Assist in assembly of, job preparation and testing at BTI location, and job execution with mentor at the well site location
• Assist in disassembly and maintenance of service equipment at BTI location upon return from job
• On location training at BTI facility with all equipment to be versed in its operation and design
• Responsible to be available to respond and participate in all service supported job opportunities
• Responsible to learn and fulfill all reporting requirements as concerns the job itself as relates to charges as well as data base information for each application
• Other duties as defined by Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing hot tapping, valve drilling, well control, power pack, snubbing, and testing equipment REQUIRED.
• Excellent comprehension of mechanical operations
• Ability to effectively deal with problems under pressure
• Maintain good client and subordinate relationships
• Excellent understanding of procedures development
• An appreciation of commitment to safety
• Possession of TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one
