Nuclear Medicine
- Responsible for providing overall leadership, strategy and direction for the NMWorkstation. - Responsibilities span multiple global NM sites (SPECT and PET) and organizations (CT, MR, PII, PROS, PIC-Bangalore). - Leads the NM workstation multi-year roadmap strategy development, which is in alignment with the long-term strategic direction of the NM business. - Responsible for the execution of one or more cross functional, simultaneous, global programs according to the NM Product Roadmap ensuring all-in business goals are met and ensuring the total lifecycle is covered. - Lead, plan and develop the NM Workstation roadmap with the business partners (Marketing, Service, CT, MR, PROS and other outside dependencies) and across multiple global sites (Cleveland, San Jose, Haifa, Best, and Bangalore) to meet all business needs. - Develop the NM Workstation business cases with Marketing - Manage functional and technical scope of individual projects and tie to roadmap to ensure the business strategy is properly executed. - Manage all aspects of product development life cycle in accordance with business needs Plan staffing, budget and schedule with Project Managers & Functional Managers - Develop measurements for deliverables to satisfy product quality, performance, schedule and cost (COGS & project NRE). - Insure successful introduction and sustaining of high quality, manufacturable, serviceable, and reliable products - Regularly interacts with executives of the business group, other business groups, and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the business group. - Resolve conflicts among team members - Manage program and project level tradeoffs. Identify and globally resolve weak or no-process areas - Recommend and implement process improvements - Communicate and provide performance feedback regarding team members to the appropriate related functional managers
- 10-15 years experience in a high-technology company, with medical equipment experience. Multi-modality, multi-site work experience a plus. - 7+ years of management experience, including at least 5+ in project / program management, in a regulated / process-oriented environment such as medical device development. - Experience in clinical applications software development a must. - Strong knowledge of and proficiency in functional management tools (including computer-based tools) and procedures for setting and tracking performance, quality, time and cost. - Demonstrated experience in new process and tools development. - Strong technical skills-mainly software - Strong people management skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, assertiveness, negotiation and influence management. - Ability to understand, track, drill down and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data. - Strong presentation skills, appropriate to both management and customer audiences. - Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills. - Strong process focus-implementing new and improving on current processes
