X-Ray Technician and/or Medical Assistant Instructors

Heritage Institute is looking for X-Ray Technicians and/or Medical Assistant Instructors. We want an employee who is looked at as a leader and would excel at teaching others the industry.

Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Teach our students according to the approved curriculum.
- Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans for approval by the Director of Education.
- Ensure that adequate supplies are on hand prior to class.
- Inform students of the requirements and expectations of the class.
- Assess each student’s progress and advise them on at least a weekly basis.
- Report to the Director of Education any issue that may hinder a students performance in the class.
- Attend all scheduled faculty meetings and in-service training sessions.
- Attend various professional growth activities to maintain faculty credentialing.
- Participate in student retention programs.

- Be a Medical Assistant and/or Limited Scope X-Ray Operator or Radiologic Tech (AART®). A combination or these skills is highly desired.
- At least 3 years of experience working in the medical field.
- Ability to multitask and be an “edu-tainer.”
- Strong knowledge of correct workplace skills, language, attire and employer expectations in a clinic setting.
